From Alonzo Herndon to the Present, explore 100 Years of Sweet Auburn.

Located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, Auburn Avenue is internationally known as a center of the American Civil Rights Movement, and is where Significant Buildings, Monuments & Urban Ruins memorialize the struggles of this homegrown grassroots political movement and mark the City Landscape.  On a daily basis Cinnamon Traveler offers the “100 Years of Sweet Auburn” walking tour to highlight the history, sights and sounds of Auburn Avenue and the historically renowned Sweet Auburn Corridor.

The walking tour last approximately 1.5 hours in length and visits important sites in 20th Century Atlanta History. See where the King Historic District met the intersection of commerce and intellectual property in the African Diaspora World to create the Modern Civil Rights Movement.

Auburn Avenue is dynamic and no two tours are the same. Naturally we enjoy it like that and bet that you will find the variety a pleasure as well.  Next time that you are in Atlanta or are hosting visitors to this great city we hope that you will make a reservation and Join Us!
