Family Time at the National Black Arts Festival ~ Centennial Park outdoor stage. Live performance, Roy Ayers with Atlanta’s own Mausiki Scales and The Common Ground Collective.

Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta is a great space with a lot of Soul.

Beginning with “Everybody Loves The Sunshine”, I have been grooving with the music of Roy Ayers since the 1970s.  I remember his concerts at Buffalo State College, Bflo NY; at SOBs in The West Village, NY and of course here in Atlanta…No Doubt He Always Brings It!

On this date in the middle of July, Roy Ayers at the age of 69 years young, still draws a crowd to witness him Getting it in and Rocking the Stage at Sunset, on a balmy Saturday Night

The downtown skyline surrounds the park, while the  mellow family crowd enjoys the cool Roy Ayers vibes.
