The Measure: Hair Texture There is long story behind my day with Basquiat hair.

So much conversation internally and externally about my day with Basquiat hair. It seems that texture was the determinant of messiness or style. Above the Basquiat hair appeared at my presentation. Puts me in the mind of an article that appeared weeks later in March 2015 New Times Sunday Style section titled, She Sounds Smart, but Look at That Hair!

Below after the internal and external discussions, reluctantly I surrendered to a hair adjustment, by my respectable sisterfriend and compañera, C. Wiatta Freeman.

In the pink print dress and tan sweater, journalist in action, Wiatta Freeman documented the presentation and a few of these images from the Book Fair.
